Ingredients

  • 1 cup cornmeal


• 1 cup flour


• 1 tbsp baking powder


• 1/2 tsp salt


• 1 cup milk


• 1 egg


• 1/4 cup melted butter


• 1 cup shredded cheddar


• 1 jalapeño, diced

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F.

  2. Mix dry ingredients, then stir in wet ingredients, cheese, and jalapeño.

  3. Bake in a greased 8x8 pan for 20-25 minutes.
